PSS Server Back On Line

Featured Replies

For those without a full back up who lost PSS products after last year's debacle, check the PSS Forum. The PSS site still has the original message but the download server is now available {at least for the present!}.John R

Thanks for the info John!Fortunately I backed up my PSS purchases last year when the writing was on the wall...A word of advice to anyone who hasn't done so... point the PSS installer to an empty folder and it will download all of the files to that folder which you can then back up to CD/DVD. When you want to reinstall FS all you have to do is just copy these files into your FS9 folder. If you have the 757/777 you will need to do a little registry editing to get the load managers to work, the details can be found in the unofficial PSS forum below :)

If it's available, why not post the 'url' here?Even 'Google' only shows the previous announcement of closure!

Dave, there's no particular url.Just fire up you autoinstaller and it will connect you with the file server.Best regards,Rafal

Rafal,Thanks for your reply but, I haven't got the installers now?Maybe someone can provide them. We will still have to log-in before the download anyway.

I would sure appreciate that URL I have gone to the PSS site and only the note about ending services appears there. Would love to have the Dash 8 again and the Airbus. Anything I had left of them is on my old crashed, discarded computer, but I still have the origional purchase records and registration. If you could post it here sure would appreciate it.ThanksDick Davis

Dave,Because, as I am sure you are fully aware, there is no such thing as a "URL" that we can access without the correct password. Or if there is, as I was not part of PSS, I did not know how to access itHowever, this is the first hint that there might be some help for those who lost out in last year's debacle. So fingers crossed! John R
