POSKY ANGER

Featured Replies

Sorry to hear about your "posting phobia" Andy -- I feel your pain. If nothing else it's been apparent to me that the POSKY people aren't smart enough to understand the fickle nature of internal search engines or that they're just so 'special' that they don't need to extend respect to others. I guess they don't remember what it was like in the beginning, when you're just so overwhelmed you're not even sure what questions to ask, much less which manual it might be in. (And lets face it -- flight sim developers may know FDEs, but at least 1/2 of them can't string two sentences together, much less get to the point - but I digress.) :-roll A rude and obnoxious, self-righteous bunch. I wonder how their donation account actually does do? I'll do anything before I post over there again. And I really don't give a rats rear end if their models are free or not! Please don't give me (or my friends) attitude -- no one deserves that. If I've learned one thing in life it's that no one (or group) is indespensible --

Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B.

Hey, this might actually be reverse psychology on Posky's part - by their attitudes, they have got their name up in lights now! If what they say and do offends you, don't go to their forum, simple as that really. Yes, I download their planes because the models are darn good, and the repaints are first rate. However, I routinely DXT3 all the textures and modify all of the FDs to improve the flying characteristics. So they can rant all they want to whoever they want to on their site and good luck to them - I just ain't going to bother reading any of it. It's not just restricted to Posky either, there're other really talented modellers out there who shalt be nameless, and their attitudes are pretty much as bad - so I don't go to their forums now either. This is totally different to the poor guys at FSFrance who shut up shop last year due to piracy issues; what a nice bunch of guys they were.;)

I agree :). Their work is some of the best freeware available. On the other hand .... there is no way I'm going to register on their forums again! I detested their "pre-moderation" of forum messages, and I found the negative attitude intolerable! I've modded their work many times, avoiding any contact with their "lovely" forum. There are a few nice people at POSKY, such as the highly respectable Hiroshi Igami :)
