August 31, 200817 yr FS9 keeps looking for a set of files named 006a2an3.agn, 006a2an4.agn,etc. I have done a full search but have been unable to find them.If anyone has any idea what they are or where I could get them I would be very grateful.Regards Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
August 31, 200817 yr According to an excellent document that lists every file on the 4 FS9 cd's, available here in the library - http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...hor=&CatID=root, those files are not part of the default install. That means one of your addon scenery's is looking for them. The best gift you can give your children is your time.
August 31, 200817 yr Author JoeThanks for your reply. Do you know if there is anywayof finding out which addon is calling for these agn files?Regards Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
August 31, 200817 yr Try disabling your add-on sceneries and then add them back in in small groups until FS starts looking for those files again. Tedious but probably the only sure way to track it down.BTW - how do you know FS is seeking those files? Are you getting an error message or are you looking at Filemon or some other similar utility?Hope this helps.
August 31, 200817 yr It's an error in the original FS9 install. FS9 will look for them even after completely fresh install.EDIT: 2000 POOOOOOOOOOOOOOSTS!!!!!!! ;)
August 31, 200817 yr I searched for those files and they do not show up on my system.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
September 1, 200817 yr Author Thanks again for all the replies guys.I found out about these autogen files because I kept getting OOMerrors and decided to check things out in Filemon. After fixing themain culprit of the OOM errors these agn files were still appearingas not found.Having monitored the sim over the last couple of days I've discoveredthat these agn files haven't really caused any noticeable memory leaks.Regards Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
