Here's a little public praise and thanks to Mario Noriega for the absolutely wonderful Piaggio. I have a new favourite plane. In a week of bad news for flight simmers, you've given us a true gem!If you haven't tried it, get fsx-pd808rm.zip. There's an FS9 version too.BlairCYOW

I am kind of ashamed to admit this, but, this is the first user designes plane I have attempted to install in FSX. I don't see a instalation info read me file in the package. Can someone run down the procedure for me?Thank youAT

Unfortunately, I'm getting the infamous BLUE WINDSHIELD effect with this plane. I'm using Active Sky Advanced for weather. When I fire this plane up in the VC, I can't see out the windshield because it all turns a light blue. Any fix for this that I might have missed somewhere in this forum?Stan

Agreed this is a nice model. I just wish it was FSX native, which it is not. It's simply a port of the FS9 bird.

File name is: fsx_pd808rm.zip (underscore, not dash)

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

It's a nice plane, if you're using FS9. It hits the FPS quite hard with FSX though, in the VC. Yeah too bad its non native

Look in the File Library for "vcrain.zip"... It has the missing default "VCRain..." textures as well as improved versions. And yes, a Search in this forum would yield about 300 or so posts on the subject... ;)
