RC giving odd weather information

Featured Replies

what is DWC?
It's the direct weather control that HiFi added to ASA for FSX to get around the wind shifts. From what I understand, it continously updates the FSX global weather to match what ASA is reporting around the aircraft. I'm sure HiFi can explain it better.

sounds like it might be a resource hog. might also explain the delay between pressing keys and getting a response.jd

Yes, it must be running a continuous processor loop, and at a higher priority than RC4. Turning off DWC got rid of the 30-second delays I was getting in communications with RC4 (as well as giving me accurate destination ATIS forecasts at last).
