May 12, 200917 yr I am having a problem with shimmering textures in the virtual cockpit. Searching the forum, I have not seen a solution, only an older thread from another user with the same problem. Have a look at Chris_1981's thread and particularly his screen shots. My shimmering is in exactly the same places. I have the v1.20.0055 patch installed. If anyone knows of a solution, or if there is a patch coming, I would be most grateful.Specs:FS9.1Windows XP MCE SP2Intel Pentium D 2.8 Ghz2 GB RAMATI Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro graphics with 512 MB on-board memoryCreative Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme Fatal1ty soundPhilip Dawson Regards, PD

May 28, 200917 yr Mine is currently set to 1280 X 1024 X 32 but I have experimented with other resolutions. I still got the shimmering. If I remember correctly there was an issue with one of the shadow options or it was caused by a combination of FS video settings and driver settings. Something to do with quirks in the FS engine, video drivers and driver settings.A forum search should turn something up. George Morris
June 1, 200917 yr Author I've searched the forum but can't seem to see any relevant posts with a solution. Also I have adjusted my FS9 and graphics card settings, but nothing made any difference. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.Philip Dawson Regards, PD
