Reality XP Garmin 530 problems

Featured Replies

Hi, Just purchased last night the Garmin 530 for fsx - my o/s is vista 64 ultimate. So far I have been unable to get it to work. One of the errors that comes up is "RXPG212.EXE has stopped working" and then it asks to shut it down. I have tried disabling visual themes. Also, the RXP gps does not show up in aircraft after it has been intalled....I've tried that fix as far as I can. So far no luck and admittedly I am not the most knowledgable person with computers. ANy suggestions would be great.

RXP has a dedicated forum here:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=12Not sure about the first issue, but the 2nd one happened to me too. What I did was restart my PC after installing and running the config tool. Then it worked.

Still unable to get it to work. Really don't know what else to do short of ask for a refund. I have spent 4+ hours trying to get it to work. Vista has been around for quite a while now and some flr sim add on prodocts seem to be just fine with it while others place customers in this situation. I can't be the only person in this situation with this product. I would rather have this add on work than ask for a refund as it seems like a real interesting product.
