For Those Who Constantly Upgrade

I'm so guilty. I LIVE for the upgrade...just to see if and how it makes an improvement. I don't think I'll ever stop until the thing runs as fast as FS9 would.-jk

---------------------Ryan: Agreed- my "better 7/8" is quite pleased with the savings account resulting from a minimum FS upgrade policy in recent years. (Which incidentally, is paying for a Hawaii cruise soon! Don't blame the recession on me- it's all been spent!!)Alex ReidAnother gain has been learning how to squeeze hidden potential from vintage hardware! I haven't upgraded my computer in over a year. Come to think of it, I haven't run FS more than once or twice over the last year. FSX and its voracious appetite for high performance computer hardware has really turned me off FS.

On the contrary, I view FSX as a challenge. Upgrading to make FSX run better has made all my other software run better and, too. I use my computer for a lot of CPU intensive stuff(video editing and the like). However, the upgrade I did in January will have to be my last for a while. It's the 7/8th syndrome.Bob

i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
