Hello Captains,iam a little bit confused about the updates for the 737-800 and -900.I bought the CD and its V1.1. On the PMDG Website i can download the Update V1.2 to V1.3.So my question is were can i get the update 1.2?Thanks.

Log in to Aerosoft.com and register on the FAQ/Support page your product(s) with the CD key supplied.Once you do this you will have access to the FAQ/Patches section for your product where you'll find support FAQ and service packs. I could be wrong but I think 1.3 is there. Look at the missing 2D panel for the 600/700 or black gauges on the 800/900 topic for the link to the patch and install instructions.

I purchased the Cd version PMDG737 800/900 late last year..The manual says (page 7) it needs no service or model updates.It is current.People who need to upgrade are the ones who already own the models 600/700 and are now upgrading to the 800/900.Let me know if I am wrong on this?

I did this a few days ago. The only thing that aerosoft offers for the PMDG 737 NG 800/900 is: -> No winglets on Hapag Lloyd livery -> There is no 2D-Panel available in the PMDG 737 600/00 or the panel window is black after I installed the PMDG 737-800/900.

Ian,DEVELOPMENT HISTORY:? problem is, nothing is mentioned on what "fixes" are included in each update. So it is hard to tell if you need one of these?That is what I mean.My CD version came with, for example, winglets ... so no updates needed!Did your CD version come with winglets?

My CD is V1.1 and the winglets are included. :(

Ian,I think we are up to date with the most recent CDROM version 1.1.But, it would be nice to get a confirmation from PMDG staff.Maybe the only way to find out for sure would be to send PMDG an e-mail (service ticket) and get a response from the developer.

This statement is misleading. You do not have to already have the 600/700 in order to install the 800/900 - they are stand-alone products. However, if you do have the 600/700 already, you might experience a problem with the 600/700 after installing the 800/900 and this is what the Aerosoft patch addresses. The patch also includes an optional panel update to bring your 600/700 panels to the same level as the 800/900.Iain Smith

No not true. You can purchase the 800/900 without having the 600/700. You cannot get the 800/900 by simply "upgrading" the 600/700. You have to purchase the 800/900 separately.My post explained it quite clearly, I thought. :( Iain Smith
