MS Natal and Flight Simulator

Featured Replies

I just watched a demo of Natal on Youtube. Do you think MS might be thinking about using this technology for Flightsim on the X-Box ? It could revolutionize the pilot input with real movements and no hardware required.Mark.

Here's the link for the demo:

I could see it being great for FS2Crew.. imagine having an FO and FA you interact with the same way you could interact with the little boy in the video. But I'm skeptical about the whole thing... It seems like too much of a jump in technology.

I was thinking you would still want a yoke, throttles and pedals, but imagine the use on all the buttons, switches and dials in the VC. Could be quite amazing.Mark.

that is way cool and also creeps me out in the slightest. Id love to try and have a conversation with the kid myself. I dont know if id trust him to fly my plane while i go to get a coffee or go to the washroom but it could work pretty interestingly:P
