July 8, 200916 yr The wind smoothing settings alone make it more than worth it to me. FSX was unflyable at upper altitudes and shifting winds until Pete figured it out and put the smoothing options in FSUIPC. Not to mention the button/key/axis assignment features. July 8, 200916 yr It is expensive, yes...But You have an almost perfect way of assigning axes and buttons/rotary knobs. This is what I use. If You have hardware controllers, I can't imagine life without it.For weather i prefer ASA, but FSUIPS adds some nice features into it.My personal statement is: 'worth the money' Bartłomiej Ender
July 8, 200916 yr Should I invest in this or should I save the money for a different addon? Please post your thoughts and opinions, thanks!I'll answer this as I always do...Peter Dowson developed this program a long long time ago which allowed, and made possible, many third party additions to be implemented into MSFS.For that alone, I paid for FSUIPC, even though you can download a free module to allow the above. I guess for me, I paid for it more out of respect and gratitude to Peter and what he provided the community. That said, I am happy I have a registered version, and utilize it more than I ever thought I would.
