Hi Jean-Michel,One thing to try - when the aircraft is loading from the FSX menu make sure you keep the FSX window in focus - ie dont go to other windows while the aircraft is loading - does this help? Thanks,Armen

Jean: Try the settings recommend on pg 0.29; notice you can vary different elements of the sound picture such as engines, cockpit, environment etc. Hope this helps.

Im not insane im in convertible LOL. :( Jean-Michel Fugere

Just a thought Jean-Michel I think at the top left you have 15fps (Unlimited) maybe.... not sure.Set a frame limit of say 40 and see if that helps, as unlimited does cause sound problems at the very least and maybe the convertable effect.Another thought look in the 747-400 sound folder and load up a wav editor and reduce the pack sound level by 50%, may help as well (be sure to make a backup first).John Ellison

Yea 15 Fps max in flight at airport drop to 7 Fps and i try set frame limit 20,30,40 When i do this my Fps drop below 7 fps at airport and below 11 in flight. And for sound i need to know what .wav i need open i find the Wind sound but the Pack idk.Thank youJean-Michel

The packs will be in the FSX/Sound/PMDG/747400 folderPMDG747_PACKS.wav PMDG747_PACKS_SPLDN.wav PMDG747_PACKS_SPLUP.wavAny simple wav editor will be able to reduce the volume of these sounds. (Just shorten the last 2)If it's just wind noise that should be alterable from the general sounds menu in FSX or alter wind_general.wav in the FSX/Sound folder but that would affect ALL planes.Hope this helpsJust as a matter of interest what computer specs are you running? That rate does seem low to me?John Ellison

Thank you I found the File :( Intel Quad core Q6600 2.4 Ghz4Gig Ram DDR2 Dual Channel OCXGforce 9800 Gx2 1 gig DDR3etc.... FS Dreamteam KLAS,KJFK,KORDFlyTampa TNCMFSX AccelerationREXFSpassagerRadar ContactUltimate Traffic IIIf you have better solution I Take it.Thank YouJean-Michel

Blimey mines a slow one compared to that (3Ghz core2 duo with 2 gig ram and vista32 and a 9600/512 Nvidia) so no idea why your frame rates are so low as mine in flight are locked at 40 and rarely drop below 20 even at addon airports.Unless it's the additional programs but I assume 64bit so shouldn't be a problem.Hope some more knowledgeable people can help you out more as I'm out of ideas at the moment, sorry.John Ellison

Ok thank I create new post for my poor performance.Jean-Michel
