July 9, 200916 yr Hello everyone. I have a simple quetsion on using 2 monitors, I was just wondering when using 2 monitors for fs9 is it just a matter of plugging the extra monitor in and flying or is there a lot of programming and twaekng to do.Sorry im not all that great with computers. Thanks Gerry Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

Gerry----------------------Gerry- sounds like you and I are alike- I get all sweaty just taking off the box cover to blow out dust!Yes, plug in the 2nd monitor to the spare port in your video card- you may need a simple plug adaptor. In Control Panel/Display/Settings you should see a schematic showing both monitors. (see pic below of my configuration.) Drag the #2 monitor outline to either left or right of #1 - the same as your actual physical monitor arrangement. Click on each schematic and set the resolution you use. Should be same for both.Click on #2 monitor schematic and near bottom, tick the box "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor".Restart the computer and you should be able to drag the cursor from far left to extreme right across both mons as if they are one! Very handy also for non FS work!--------------To set up FS- key [ (square left bracket). That will create a small view box on top of main view. Right click on it & Undock it, then with the cursor drag it to the second monitor. To set the correct view, click on that view to set the focus, then key Control plus Num 7 or 9 to set View LEFT FWD or RIGHT FWD. Num lock must be ON ! Then drag the edges of the image to resize it as you wish.(The above remarks apply to 2D panels - Virtual panels will require TH2GO to stretch over multiple mons.)You can also open any popup, undock and drag same way. Plus you can open MAP or TOP DOWN VIEW or FS BUILD etc- click first one of the mons to specify which one you wish to display these on.There are a few more tricks but this will get you going nicely. Welcome to the club!! Alex Reid

July 9, 200916 yr DAMN you Alex.....I was quite content with my second monitor running my extra gauges until I saw the pic of your setup..Now I am going to have go out and get a third monitor to get the surround view as you have.... :( Seriously, great set-up Alex. Gonna try to emulate the same.
