I was using FSCOMMANDER trying to save my fltpln but I had them going to the wrong folder. After a couple of times restarting FS9 I got the black screen?? Any idealsDon

July 14, 200916 yr I am also getting black screens, but mine are after I load a flight. I did not get this in Windows 7, but now I am in Vista...:(...switching back to Vista is going to be a test of my patience :( till October comes.Has anyone had this issue? July 14, 200916 yr If using Vista, try Right clicking on the shortcut which starts FS and then disabling Desktop Composition and let us know if that helped at all.

You might be on to something, but to fix the black screen I have to Alt+Enter to full screen then again to go back to windowed mode. Any idealsDonNothing to worry about as long as your fs2004 loads...as soon as I load PMDG POSKY 737-700 merge it fails and black screen appears with "fs2004 will now restart" "send error report" etcIt's fustrating, yours is fine

I did get it to work but now I'm getting the black screen again. I don't won't to have to use system restore I would like to know what the cause is. I'm running in SLi mode with two EVGA GTX 260 SSC video cards, I also have the latest driver installed 186.18 if that will help.Oh yeah Fs9 is not loadingDon
