July 17, 200916 yr Is there a way stopping the AI turning on thier lights until receiving takeoff clearance? This just looks so bizarre! July 17, 200916 yr Author Are you buy any chance using Shockwave 3D Lights Redux??The Pic I posted seems to have disappeared. Will try again tomorrow. No, I don't have the Shockwave lights installed. It's just that when I have a heap of AI at a large airport at night, they almost all have bright lights on at the ramp/gate.Looks really silly:-) Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
July 18, 200916 yr Author Ok, my fault - file size too big! Here's the deal. Is there perhaps an effect or image file i can edit or replace to fix it? July 18, 200916 yr That is really wierd looking scenario. I don't know how to fix. I came in here to recommend IrFanview program for reducing (croping) size of pics. No need to fire up PhotoShop. There is hardly any loss of quality with IrFanview. I reduced your pic (croped the 'inportant' part) in 10 seconds. Here it is. Pic is 800x464 and 49 kb.Chuck BNapamule
July 19, 200916 yr Author Hi,Reduce your AI Traffic Slider!Unless i reduce the traffic slider to zero, that won't help solve the issue will it.May i ask others to report if this is normal in FSX please? I've only just started night flying. July 19, 200916 yr Are you using an addon AI traffic application? All of my GA and airline traffic turns on taxi lights, nav lights, and beacon when taxiing and turns on strobes and landing lights before takeoff. I'm using default FSX traffic plus WOAI and Shockwave 3D lights. Art
July 20, 200916 yr Are you sure this is all coming from AI traffic? I saw some spots where the landing lights seemed to be coming out of nowhere. Have you installed any scenery recently for LAX? And what does the airport look like with AI Traffic at 0%? Have you installed any scenery recently for LAX? And what does the airport look like with AI Traffic at 0%?I have Ultimate Traffic 2 installed and yes, it is the traffic. They appear to be turning on those lights way before taxi too. Also, it looks as if I either have bad textures for the taxi lights, or they're turning on landing lights.I have no LAX scenery installed. None past either.I think I'll try uninstalling UT2 to see what happens with default AI.
