Avro RJ85 or BAe 146-200

Featured Replies

On his site he lists specific RJ-85 panels including different versions and upgrades and provides the files. Click on the ARJ-85 button on the left to get to that list. On another page he presents a list of FS9 Bae models including RJ-85s that gop with these panels. On the one I installed it was mostly modern gauges, not the steam gauge types. The overheads are definitely RJ-85s. I used cockpit images from airliners.net for comparison and they were close. Perhaps the aircraft you fly has had its instrumentation updated beyond what was available in 2004 or so.

first read the post and the response.. i am flying one avro rj85 and would like to have a panel for that. the bae146 is not exactly the same. i didnt say that it will become easy to do it, thats why i asked for help. i know that here are some guys, who can do such things and i could give all the information needed about the systems and the panel. there is that baepanelproject panel for the BAe146 ofc but for me it looks like an old panel from FS2000 or something. i would like to have some better quality to make it more realistic. i dont know how long it takes to setup a gauge and if its possible to just copy code from older panels and then give it a new outfit. but thats why i am asking here. anyway i would prefer an Avro RJ85 panel

i really wanted a BAe 146 too and i was going buy eurowings but then i read some bad reviews and that the panel is really complicated, can anybody with eurowings tell me if it is a good product or are the reviews ive read correct?

had the eurowings BAe146 for YEARS. first flew with FS8 and then updated to work with FS9. the panel does simulate the real-world aircaft in many ways ... so yes it requires one to read the manual and learn how to correctly operate the aircraft in each stage of flight. it is not a 'lite the fires and just go' aircraft; but in no way as complicated as the PMDG's MD11. the autopilot takes some time to learn as how the modes are keyed are WAY different than the default FS aircraft (FS default aircraft are in general incorret in how the autopilots work).the FMC is not correct for the aircraft. the one used comes from dreamfleet's 737-400 for FS7 & FS8. this is an excellent FMC and works fine ... just not correct model for the BAe.--

thanks for that, i think im gonna save up and get it as my next addon

The Eurowings set is not bad even though it has no RJ panel. The aircraft is very good if not the best why I'm still have it installed. But I've changed the EW panel with the freeware BAe 146 panel of the panel project. The EW panel has better bitmaps but the freeware panel has much more systems realized than the EW panel. I like the freeware panel very much because of its realistic systems and the handling of the systems which is close to the real aircraft. The ISG GNS makes this set complete.RegardsManfred (EDDS)

i would like to have some fmc for my avro.. tried that vasFMC or what its called but i can only see it when simulator is minimized...

Eurowings Professional came out a few years ago and I think its the best out there for BAE-146-200/300. Aerosoft still sells the BAE-146 sim (Eurowings 2004) it on their webiste (www.aerosoft.com), here is the link for the product page....http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd80!0,5247933870,DF01364BruceU
The Aerosoft Europe site says it's not compatible with Windows Vista so does that mean it won't be compatible with Windows 7 either?Iain Smith

i have windows 7 and it works, but i would like to have some fmc which i can update via airac so if you think the same, get vasFMC or what its called. maybe someone can include it into the panel
