Does anyone have SSW's Moscow scenery and if so how is it? The company has went belly up leaving that scenery the only one ever produced for FS9 including the scenery and the international airport there.

Les, I guess you mean the Moscow city.If so, then there is an excellent freeware rendition of Moscow, with custom buildings, mesh and ortophoto base.You will find them in the file library ( Файлы ) of avsim.suAnd, by the way, Domodedovo by Dancer Design is excellent also.

The Russian site is a little hard to navigate so it goes without saying I can't find the city of Moscow. Dancer Design's website doesn't look like it's working properly...

Dancer Design's Domodevodo and Moscow hasn't been available for sale for over a year now - the IG Fly site is still there, but the message one gets upon clicking the "order" link is "sales are down". Shame, because it looks good, and Moscow's airports aren't well represented in FS9 otherwise.

I have it and it's great. Maybe the texturing is not top notch (not the high quality well shadowed airports FlyTampa or FSDT make), but the overall impression is really nice.There are a lot of details at the airport (including working excavators). And, which is quite important isn't it, it is AESed.What's more, if you use AI traffic, you will see a lot of interesting aircraft there.Domodedovo is Russia's main hub for many domestic and charter airlines, using all the Il's, Tu's, An's, and so on.Add the freeware Moscow city from Avsim.su, and the flying experience is very nice.Here's a sample I found in my screenshot album:If you need some help with locating Moscow files at Avsim.su, just let me know.

Rafal is there anywhere at this time I can get Domodevodo? These companies close down and shut off all possibility of getting their scenery with no thought of future customers. I have to give it to PSS who allowed Just Flight to keep selling their work. Revenue can still be made by a business if they go this route as many of us will continue to buy if the product is still available. It sucks I have UUEE and not Domodevodo especially when a decent rendition was created. Ready For Push Back is another one that did an honorable thing in releasing their work as freeware when they decided to move on to other things. They knew simmers loved their work and didn't officially pull their product totally out of existence. Lago is another one with their Simmarket arrangement. Something about this Russian way of doing things (Captainsim, SSW, Dancer Design) in which they operate a little short sighted in many aspects of their business practices. It's very disturbing for those of us expecting long term support... Maybe the KGB don't take too kindly to detailed renditions of their cities/airports being reproduced so faithfully in FS...

Rafal can you give me some suggestions as to what WOAI packages/airlines I should download so these airports are properly populated? I already have Aeroflot but I'm not sure of what other airlines use these airports and what's available out there in the WOAI arena. I only use WOAI (World of AI) as that's the most streamlined AI utility that runs smoothly with Flight1's Ultimate Traffic. I don't have time to bother with other AI programs at this time... Hopefully WOAI has some decent Russian options that populate these airports nicely... :(

Well, Les, to be honest, it is going to require a bit of effort.WOAI has only some of the airlines you'd be interested in, but that's always more than just something:- Aeroflot- Transaero- S7 Siberia Airlines- Sky Express- Red Wings- KD (Kaliningrad) AviaCargo:- AirBridgeCargo- Polet Flight- Volare- Meridian- Rubystar- Aero CharterAdditionally:- Ukraine Intl- Dnieproavia- Armavia- AeroVis- Air Astana- GeorgianAs for the rest (and there is A LOT to choose from) it's my own work.I have used Traffic Tools with various flightplans and liveries found enywhere possible, I mean at:- avsim.com- flightsim.com- avsim.su (a great Russian and ex-soviet source)- World of Traffic - a very nice collection of links (if you can put up with that Quelle ad): http://worldoftraffic.de.ki/If you need some more help with Russian scenery or traffic, don't hesitate to tell me here or via PM.
