My computer won't let me do the >2GB switch, and it says it is a secret as to why...

Featured Replies

I HATE it when my computer keeps secrets from me! I tried running the 2GB switch because my computer has beeen crashing to a black/ dead monitor (hard crash) when running FSX in Vista 32. The command that I tried to use is: BCDEDIT/set increaseuserva 2560 This was done in the command prompt, run as Administrator. The computer responded back to me as follows: "The boot configuration data store could not be opened. The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded"Does any one have a clue what is happening here, because I am at a total loss...My specs are:Windows Vista Home Premium 32 BitService Pack 13GB RamProcessor: Intel

Your talent is a gift from God. How you use your talent is your gift back to God.

Here's what I would do...Get Vista SP2Make sure there is a space after BCDEDITYou might have to remove any edits and try again as in this link http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?tip=5551Bob
