FSX-Victoria scenery suite

Last night, I set up for a dusk flight out of British Columbia's Victoria International. After waiting for a 737 WestJet to take off..and then getting my clearance, I headed the Baron South out over the peninsula and just have to say, that I am only now really APPRECIATING the coding and graphics that FSX has...when seen with equipment to bring it out. With the waves below me on my climb out, the Victoria area to my left...and the setting sun splashing red hues across the cloudscape....well, this of course is not the real world, but it does not take any mental horsepower to convince the brain that it: IS! Not now!I could only shake my head, and marvel on how incredibly beautiful this flight sim---'simulates' the real world. Now. Post i7 system.I will not be loading FS9 back onto the hard drive. I can't....I can't ever go back. FSX/i7-945/GTX285/nHancer has seduced me.My son gets the whole shebang. No looking back.FSX is running solo...out and over the bay, and beyond.....:)Mitch

Mitch, I do hope you have Victoria + installed... :(

Your lucky! I just can't invest in a new computer for a while. So FS9 is my primary. FSX I take out once in a while but too much of a slide show to enjoy.

==============================================It's there for you just waiting. It's not going anywhere. When you can afford to upgrade, you can be happy to know that the technology has finally shown up to do FSX to the '9''s.It took me a long time to save up, too. Everybody has their timetable. :) Yours is coming.....Enjoy when it does!Mitch
