Microsoft's profits rose by 35% in the 1st Quarter of 2010.http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2010/ap...rosoft-profitsNot bad for a company led by a buffoon!Am I right in assuming that assuming you are the CEO of a multi-billion international corporation that is doing better than that?
Only due to cost cutting, the release of Windows 7, and the economic recovery. Not due to anything major Ballmer did. The fact of the matter is, all they have is Windows, Office and Xbox. Nothing else. And Google has an OS in the works (Dell is already looking at putting on their PCs). It is clear that the best they can hope for under Ballmer is to hold on to their dominant position in desktop OS (their cash cow). I don't see that happening long term.Ballmer is the worst CEO in the World.
