I just downloaded Lester Pearson Airport by Dennis Di Franco. I've made several flights to this scenery and noticed that there is never any traffic at the airport. would like to know how I get AI traffic to populate this airport. Is it a matter of adjusting the traffic BGL file and if so, what's the best way to do that. I'm using a custom traffic file that was made by a fellow simmer using WOAI and Evolve AI packages. The sceney also has a custom AFCAD. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bill

What's you AI traffic slider at? You might try increasing it's value a bit. I usually use 65%. Also, which WOAI packages are you using and are you also using the default FS9 pacakge too?MarkEdit: Have you checked for duplicate Afcads too, although, I'm not sure if that would effect anything...)

Well for starters you can use the free Traffic Tools utility by Lee Swordy and decompile the Traffic file you are using.Once you have decompiled you will get three txt files - one of which lists all the airports which are used in the traffic file. Check to see if Pearson (the ICAO code) is amongst them.Next check the txt file which contains the flightplans. Do a search for the ICAO code of the airport in question to be sure there are flights to and/or from that airport. Also note the "percentage" for each. It may be that if there are flights scheduled to or from Pearson require a very high setting in your Traffic dialogue (in the sim) in order to be active.Obviously you must have the aircraft installed which are called for in the flightplans also. Those are a few things you can check. Good luck!

I just checked my CYYZ on my setup (I have the same Di Franco enhancement installed) and find plenty of traffic there.I only use World of AI Packages (Air Canada etc) and have the default FS2004 Traffic file disabled.My Traffic slider is currently set at 70% with Airline Traffic enabled (Settings/Traffic) also.

There is a great tool at the World of AI website that allows you to enter an airports ICAO code and it will display all of their packages that visit that airport.Useful if you want to maximize the AI population at any airport.Here is a link - http://www.world-of-ai.com/airports.phpHope this helps,Joe

Thanks guys for all the responses. I did visit the WOAI site and downloaded the liveries that visit that airport and now have traffic. Like "OPA" I have my FS9 original traffic file disabled and my slider is set at 65%. Thanks again!!
