August 27, 200916 yr To add to my last post:It did try to deploy again (made the sound) but it snapped back up to the stowed position. The only connection that I can make between the 737 and the MD-11 is that the spoilers don't arm the same as the 747 and 767 in the sim. You have to pull up on the MD-11 spoiler handle and the 737 won't arm with shift+/ as you have to bring up the 2d throttle panel and click on the spoiler handle. I have no middle values set in FSUIPC for the spoiler axis because the documentation said that you only set those if you want to arm the spoilers with the T/Q lever and I do it with mouse clicks or shift+/. I can't remember if I set those values in FSUIPC on my previous install or not.Do you think I'm on to something???? Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
August 29, 200916 yr Update!!:I disabled the spoiler axis and guess what???The auto-spoilers work now 100% of the time with the MD-11 and 737. So now that the problems been isolated to the FSUIPC programming of my spoiler axis does anyone have an example of a FSUIPC config for a CH T/Q axis for spoilers that works? As stated before it worked before my last reload/upgrade of my rig so I must have programmed FSUIPC different and now I can't get it to work. (I know I should have saved a copy of my FSUIPC.ini file)Thanks Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com

Until I installed CH manager I had problems with axis calibration. I am not sure technically why this works, but when CH manager installs it loads drivers for the CH devices. After installing CH manager everything worked great. I also have a registered version of FSUIPC and was not able to get it to work without installing CH manager. Why not just try loading it and see what happens? :( George Morris

When I first got my CH system I loaded their software even though they said you didn't have to. I wasn't to impressed with their interface so I used FSUIPC, but left the software loaded.I've gotten used the physics of the aircraft I fly so I rarely use my spoilers during descent (only when Radar Contact vectors me a little high and I need to get down faster). I really only use them in auto for touchdown. When I removed my spoiler axis yesterday I remapped my T/Q so that the first four levers are my throttles, the fifth lever is landing gear, and the sixth lever is still flaps. This setup seems to be working well. So now the question is what would I use more a spoiler or a gear axis? Thanks for the input George. August 30, 200916 yr There are a number of threads at the FSUIPC support forum regarding spoiler calibration. I didn't look at them directly but the results of my search:http://forums.simflight.com/search.php?st=...spoiler&fid[]=54&start=30Some are specidically for programmers but others are for users assigning and calibrating. While there have been FSUIPC changes since publication you might want to look at this application note from stickworks.com regarding throttle calibration with the CH Throttle Quad for either both or just one of CHM or FSUIPC:http://home.att.net/~stickworks/swdownld.html#CMNOTE02
August 30, 200916 yr Thanks Ron that's some good info. Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
