August 24, 200916 yr I remember reading about this in a thread a while back. I filed it in the back of my mind for later use but the grey matter is not up to much these days. I am using the MD11 in FSX and am running on Windows 7. I have CH yoke, throttle and saitek peddles. I have the full version of FSUIPC with most of the levers and whot-not calibrated in FSUIPC. Flap lever on the MD11 works better when that axis alone is mapped through FSX.For some reason I need to reverse the toe breaks to get them to break when pressed. If not reversed the breaks are constantly on. I am not able to release the parking break with a dab of the toe breaks. This happens during all stages when on the ground. All systems are powered up and working properly. A punch of the Justin Paull
August 24, 200916 yr I remember having to play with the dead zones on my Saitek Rudder Pedals to get the brakes to work properly. I forget where exactly I went to do that though. Think it was in the FSX controls panel. Just giving it a little more of a dead zone solved the problem for me though. Might take awhile of messing with it to find that sweet spot. Let me know if that helped if not I will post up the detailed setting for it after I get home from work. Hope it works though. August 24, 200916 yr I have CH pedals so I'm not sure if this will help, but here goes anyway:On the net, I found that if you calibrate the rudder pedals with a medium sized paperback (or hard plastic CD case (Like the one FS Gold edition or PMDG Queen of the skies comes in)) underneath the heel portion of the pedals, it actually works quite well!In any case, good luck on a solution!Shane "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

August 25, 200916 yr im having the same issues with my CH peddles also. ive tried the "cd case" trick. no luck. any other tricks?................. alDon't know if it's relevant in this case but I found that my CH Pedals always tended to have the brakes on even with my feet clear of them. By default FS seems to put the sensitivity for the toe brakes at the mid-point of the slider, contrary to what I expected I found that setting the sensitivity to max cured the problem. No more magazines or cd cases required!Andy L
August 28, 200916 yr Author Justin, go to my earlier post on the very same problem and see if this does anything for your setup:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=258119 Aaron,Thanks for the info in the link. I renamed the fsuipc4.ini file and started FSX again. After setting the left and right brake axes in FSUIPC I am able to get the parking break to release when I push bot toe breaks to the stops. Only problem is that the breaks are not reversed, ie they are always on and are off when the toe breaks are pressed. When I reverse the toe break axes in FSUIPC the breaks work fine but they no longer release the parking break. I think this is down to a calibration issue, any furhter thoughts?Justin Justin Paull
