Guys l`ve just done a flight.. taxi to parking, shut down the aircraft to cold and darkNow l tried to do another flight from the cold and dark... Remember l hadnt shut down fsx just left the aircraft and the parking.l`ve power up ok but l noticed that my left amps was 0 l couldnt start my engines again.what am l doing wrong.? do l have to leave the aircraft on the external power for alittle while, while it charges?any help on this would be greatThanksPaul

You start your engine on external power (left engine). Be sure to open your ramp manager and hook up the GPU (ground power unit), or you will not have any external power available. Please check out the tutorial, and also the AOM that came with your J41.And just a bit of advice. Don't start your right engine with external power or you will end up with a mouth full of teeth from the ramp crew...

The batteries are isolated from the GPU when the GPU is providing power, so charging the batteries with it is of no avail.

Just so you guys know, this is after l`ve done a flight.. then want to start the next leg.Thx guysl know when l start the aircraft from my first flight l start the left engine first..Paul

Paul,What's the voltage reading on the batteries? The ammeters indicate the load, and a 0 on the meter simply indicates no current flow. The batteries drain pretty quickly in the J41, so you have to remember to shut everything off between flights if you're not going to use the GPU.
