September 9, 200916 yr Just curious if anyone else is having any issues getting the spoilers to deploy. I arm the spoilers on the ground prior to takeoff, apply reverse thrust during the landing roll, the "green" spoilers deployed light never lights, and the spoilers never deploy. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.Regards,Bob Modrowski
September 9, 200916 yr Bob,Check to make sure you've switched prop sync off and advanced the condition levers back to full forward before landing. September 9, 200916 yr Author Kurt,Thanks for the reply. Prop Sync is not on and the condition levers never leave the flight position until the aircraft is on the ground and ready to taxi. Any other ideas??Regards,Bob Modrowski
September 9, 200916 yr Bob,You're not pulling the condition levers back to 98% RPM at the start of climb?Do you get a configuration warning during takeoff? I wonder if you're not getting 100% RPM. Check the RPM when you're on final next time and confirm that it's at 100%. September 9, 200916 yr Author Kurt,I'm not always pulling the condition levers back to 98% (such as when performing touch and go's). I am not getting a configuration warning during takeoff and I am getting 100% RPM on final when the condition levers are full forward.Been trying to figure this out all night....this ones got me stumped.
September 9, 200916 yr Same problem here. Can't figure out why they won't deploy. It seems to work for most folks, so it must be a procedural issue.Curt Curt Branch

I thought they weren't until I looked closely. They are very small inboard of the engines. Martin Buzzell You want me to do what!!! Email me
September 9, 200916 yr There is a green light on the panel when they deploy. Mine sometimes do, sometimes don't - but I think it is a calibration issue with my CH Throttle Quadrant. Press F2 or map F2 (repeated and held) to a hardware button. Advanced : set F1 after F2 released (that's what I have). This will sort any retraction issue.Vangelis ==================================== E M V Precision Manuals Development Group ====================================
September 9, 200916 yr Author Vangelis,Thank you for the reply. I use FSUIPC and was issuing seperate FSX commands to each throttle when pulled into reverse (Throttle1 decr and Throttle2 decr). These commands allow for proper reverse thrust but would not cause the spoliers to deploy. Changing the FSX command to a button press of F2 as you suggested above with application of F1 upon button release has solved the issue. I am curious as to why the spoilers are not deploying directly with issued FSX commands but at least they are now working. Thank you for the suggestion. :( Regards,Bob Modrowski
