PMDG airplanes crooked to flight path
So, if you FLY the aircraft, can you land on the runway? Remember, Aviate , navigate, communicate. All aircraft fly the same, until you introduce automation. Don't rely on automation, fly the aircraft and point it where you want it to go.

PMDG - another reason why you may have stutters
I had Hyper threading turned on in Win 7 and FSX was fine. Changed to Win 8.1 and had to turn it off. Stuttering was horrendous. Go figure!

Annoying Little Problem
Map all controls through FSUIPC, then disable controllers in FSX and they work great! I had the same issues. Also raising the sensitivity might work too. It did for me before I changed to Windows 8.1.

PMDG products stuttering every second
Turn off Hyperthreading in the BIOS. I had to when I went from WIn 7 to 8.1 My stuttering was very bad. Totally different tweaking process in 8. I'm surprised you haven't mentioned that your joystick stopped working.

Lights illuminating during the day
Nothing wrong, you can select it in the PMDG options in the FMC.

Auto cruise is not slowing down on turns.
You're going to have to be a bit more specific. What do your FMA's say? Is VNAV/LNAV set? Buzz

Default Trans Alt
I have noticed this isse as well

windows8 pmdg problem
I had all the issues mentioned under Windows 8. I went back to Windows 7 and now I can fly endlessly with no issues. I can only speak for myself, but do NOT upgrade to Windows 8 if everything in your FSX is working as it should under 7. Buzz

Installation sequence of PMDG Boeing jets question
Also, stay away from Windows 8. I've just downgraded back to Windows 7 after huge issues with FSX in 8. Everything runs jst how it should under 7. Nothing against Windows 8, I have it on my Home Theatre PC, just FSX doesn't like it. Buzz

...and people wonder why Tech Crew Members don't bother commenting in forums. Thank you Greg and Rob for trying to share flying knowledge to the masses.

Inside a GE90-115B!
Longreach? All the -400's are called Longreach including the Oscar Echo's with the extra fuel tank. Oscar Juliet Hotel (OJH) was the one that played on the golf course in Bangkok. it has now been retired to the Desert at Marana Buzz

Crazy winds.
I have this same issue, but I don't think it's REX. Even when I use the FSX weather, it goes mad. I disable FSUIPC and everything runs fine. Trouble is I need FSUIPC to stop crashes within ORBIX scenery. So try that, disable FSUIPC by renaming the DLL and see what happens. I've had the issue for years, but have only narrowed it down to FSUIPC running, but haven't worked out a fix. I've tried wind smoothing without success.

PMDG 737NGX vs IFLY 737NG
I have both and the NGX is amazing in everyway including the sounds.. I love all the sounds, PMDG as usual have got it just right. The iFly has one sound I do like and thats the nosewheel sound. When you taxi out it makes a thud as it runs over the taxiway lights. Though it is simulated, so aiming for the lights doesn't make the sound. Buzz

Scenery texture disappearing after a period of flight, and framerate?
I've been having a fiddle. I put texture load back to 4096 and deleted Highmem. Blank ground texture are still not there, very strange. I'll put highmem back and see what happens again.

Scenery texture disappearing after a period of flight, and framerate?
I had this issue when flying over ORBX related scenery. I never had it until PMDG suggested the texture load change. I changed it back to TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024 and things are back to normal. Buzz

PMDG 737NGX Liveries
Vortex Generators?Look like aerials to me.They've taken that long to release the 737NGX that both the Virgin Blue (which is now Virgin Australia) and the Qantas livery are out of date.

Real 747 Pilot uses PMDG
When I was in the QF 744 sim, the Systems Engineer controlling the sim informed me, he recommended all new FO's to grab a copy of PMDG. He reckons it's great for systems training.Buzz

PMDG 737 NGX: PMDG's attitude toward realism
Welcome to my world!! I see this everyday. I know this is off topic, but I saw three people in court the other day for the exact same offence. First two were polite and well dressed and got over a $500 fine each. The last one as Turbine put it, with his pants hanging off he's butt and got let off!!Just to get back on topic, I can't wait for the NG as I too lost it when I moved to FSX.Buzz

What do PMDG Pilots do in real life?
That makes two of us with the same job and same frustration, though I get to do a bit of flying on the road. I work highway Patrol, so I get to drive what you call the Vauxhall Monaro. In Australia, it comes in a four door version called a Holden Commodore SS. Six litre V8, gets up and goes very well!Martin Buzzell

Open Thanks to PMDG Customer Support Paul and his team
Hope you now have a second drive! Back up, back up, back up!Martin Buzzell

2D panels?!
I am a 2D panel die hard. That was until the Jetstream came along! Now it's just about all I fly. If the FSX 737NG is going to be this good, then not much will get done around my place.Martin Buzzell

MD-11X getting CTD at 3000ft
I notice it's to the same place. I have CTD's with PMDG products, but a lot of the issues are maxed out CPU. Especially around add-on scenery. I have now learnt, don't go near YMML until my quad core arrives!Martin Buzzell

Help with tuning ADF on JS 41
The funny thing for me is it won't work properly on the ground, but once airbourne, it works fineMartin Buzzell

JS41 Spoilers will not deploy.
They may actually deploy. I thought they weren't until I looked closely. They are very small inboard of the engines.
