September 6, 201411 yr I have an annoying little problem with the autobrakes on both the NGX and the 777. When disarming the autobrakes after landing turning the switch to off applies the brakes. I then have to tap the brakes to disengage them. Not a big deal but annoying. Also, when taking off in the 777 when the switch automatically disengages from the rejected takeoff setting the brakes are applied (red brake indication in bottom left of screen). Any ideas? Have everything assigned through FSUIPC. Steve Giblin
September 6, 201411 yr My guess, and this is all I have, is that the FSUIPC assignments may have a role in your problem. Generally, axis assignments through FSUIPC for PMDG aircraft may introduce problems. In fact, the only reason I have for FSUIPC is calming the winds in default FSX weather, and it's been several generations of PMDG simulations that used FSUIPC. Neither the NGX nor T7 use it. Just a thought. Dan Downs KCRP
September 8, 201411 yr Map all controls through FSUIPC, then disable controllers in FSX and they work great! I had the same issues. Also raising the sensitivity might work too. It did for me before I changed to Windows 8.1. Martin Buzzell You want me to do what!!! Email me
September 19, 201411 yr Author I do have everything mapped through FSUIPC and have the FSX controls disabled. What sensitivity did you change? Steve Giblin
September 20, 201411 yr After landing, I tap the brakes to disengage, turn off the active, and then turn off the autobrakes. Works fine for me this way. John - John Drago
September 24, 201411 yr I don't use FSUIPC for any controls but I did have a similar problem. I solved it by deleting the FSUIPC.INI and let it rebuild a new one when I restarted FSX. Ever since then I've had no problems. Tom Landry
September 26, 201411 yr Author I don't use FSUIPC for any controls but I did have a similar problem. I solved it by deleting the FSUIPC.INI and let it rebuild a new one when I restarted FSX. Ever since then I've had no problems. Perhaps I'll give that a try. I was hoping to avoid doing all new assignments... Steve Giblin
