It is a known CTD issue for a very long time. I'm using XP64 and just thought i'd throw this question out there. Has anyone ever tackled this one? Or have you just learned to live with it like I have? I've read that it is an Nvidia issue. I've uninstalled Nhancer just as an experiment, and it didn't make a difference.

Alt-Enter is the way to get to your desktop with NVIDIA and it is also the way to get back to FSX in full screen without issues.

When i minimize the window to start up RC or use ALT AND ESC or use ALT and enter When i go back to mimulatore i have always corrupted textures and the screen flicker. I have a Nvidia 8800 GTX and the latest driver installed..Any HElp ?ThanksAlfredo

I've investigated this problem under Win 7 64 bit to the hilt and tried everything, nothing works. The best is to never disturb a flight by using ALT-TAB and as little ALT-ENTER as is possibe. ALso don't go into the menus. Frankly, FSX as developed under XP and is a 32 bit application; it should come as no surprise that sooner or later, hardware and OS development will eventually make FSX entirely unusable; but, this is the era of having multiple OS on partitioned hard drives. I'd go back to 32 bit, but then you get OOM errors! THere's no making FSX entirely happy.Randy Jura, KPDX

Try pausing FSX before you ALT-TAB.I have no issues with my 8800GTX and 195.62 drivers, using this method.

Thanks I will try it even if i have half soved the problem reducing the quality saund setting. I had a flight at night that lasted 8 hours and i didnt have texture problems. I had it only when i went to option to see the replay of the landing. Anyway i think the problem, as mentioned, is about 64 bit systems..
