September 26, 200916 yr Hi EricI have just tried copying and pasting my panel.cfg file, and it comes out at nine pages long, which would be quite a post, even the [Vcockpit01] section that has the gauge entry in it is four pages long, but the entry I have is the same as your entry, except for the two end numbers of 10,10 which is just the overall size, and as I always use FSPS, these types of gauges end up at whatever fits and I
September 27, 200916 yr Hi Jim,It turns out that gauge184 is causing the issue. After deleting it from the panel.cfg the LDGlightswitch works during daytime. Eric [FSX on Windows7 64-bit]
September 27, 200916 yr Hi EricI have to admit that I have never come across this one before, and as you can see I don
November 2, 200916 yr Hi Jim,I am a new member of this forum, I have just bought and installed shockwave 3D lights Redux. I have the same problem to Mikael. I have got fx_shockwave_circle.bmp and fx_shockwave_lights.bmp files in my effects folder. Unfortunately, fx_shockwave_lights_l.bmp and fx_shockwave.bmp files are missing. If you don't mind, could you please send these files to me through my email [email protected]?.Thanks & best regardMinh Truong
November 3, 200916 yr Hi peops, I saw this thread and remember the amount of time it took me to get my lights right on the PMDG 747-400. The below settings are the best I have ever seen and fixes the beacon issue as well (No more blinking in the VC, annoying). Also, I'm not sure where I read it, but you can only have 8 lights showing. I know you can add lights til your hearts content but only 8 will show at any given time, atleast this is what I read. This is something I noticed a while back and have read somewhere. Possible A2A's forum a long time ago. I'm also not sure if that is just for the 744 or just FSX or what, but if I add a ninth, one will disappear.Anywho, here is the BEST settings for A2A redux lights for the 747, with Beacon fix :), they will also be snug as a bug, on the plane rather than hovering above it. And last but not least, some settings for your cargo exits so you can call bagage cars to your queen and they will actually come![LIGHTS]light.0 = 3, -225.90, 0.30, 4.72, fx_shockwave_navwhi_l, // Position Aftlight.1 = 3, -225.90, -0.30, 4.72, fx_shockwave_navwhi_l, // Position Aftlight.2 = 2, -225.52, 0.00, 3.94, fx_shockwave_strobe_l, // Strobe Aftlight.3 = 1, -33.596, -0.50, 14.868, fx_pmdg744_beacon, // Beacon Toplight.4 = 1, -86.149, 0.00, -11.735, Fx_shockwave_beaconb, // Beacon Bottomlight.5 = 5, -76.800, 20.40, -3.700, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light // ShockWave lightlight.6 = 5, -76.800, -20.40, -3.700, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light // ShockWave lightlight.7 = 5, -75.500, 18.30, -3.700, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light // ShockWave lightlight.8 = 5, -75.500, -18.30, -3.700, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light // ShockWave light* For the baggage cars to work, you need to be parked at a gate with the 3 ground vehicles in front of you. To call them press "Shift E then immediately after, press the #3 button. (For exit 3, which will be your front cargo hold). If you don't know, Opening your cargo door is something you will have to set a key to in the pmdg menu, but that will just open the door, to call the vehicles use the above. Keep in mind that your cargo doors will not open with engines started. Ground power or APU will be needed.[exits]number_of_exits = 3exit.0 = 0.4, -31.1147, -9.5702, 1.11891, 0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)exit.1 = 0.4, -62.2539, -9.6109, 1.1891, 0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)exit.2 = 0.4, -43.8000, 7.1000, -8.400, 1 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)See this pic http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Turbine777/Load.jpgEnjoy!If you just want to add the lights for your own PMDG of any make/model, do this and save tons of precious fps :)To ease my frame rates and keep them available for other addon's, I made it so ONLY my PMDG 747 gets the lights. This is kinda cool since it makes me more dominant, in the A2A spotlight, sort of speak, haha. With all the addons I run, having Redux lighting on everything can drop my FPS up to 25 fps in a busy hub. To get this result. Simply make a back up of the Aircraft.cfg files for the following planes and after you install A2A Redux, simply replace them with the originals.
