There is no "legal" way to get another key. If you did not back up your registration information to some other media (other than your hard drive) when you first got it from FSNav, then you are just out of luck. The FSNav author has retired and no longer supports the program - there is no site which keeps copies of the original purchased registration data.Wish I had better news for you. :(

If you purchased FSNavigator from Simmarket you should be able to retrieve your key by logging into "Your Account". Other vendors of the product may have a similar arrangement. This is not illegal.John

It has been a long since I purchased mine but I do know the transaction was done through FSNav and not through another vendor. The registration came in e-mail form from FSNav and of course that cannot be done now. I was not aware that FSNav was ever sold through other vendors.

Thanks for all your replies,Opo I did have a Backup in an E/mail program but the server had a crash some 6 weeks ago and lost all my records.Had no luck trying to obtain key. When your lucks out its out! What is the best replacement for FS nav that you folks may suggest??Regards and thanks to all.PS. It would be unfair to name the person that crashed my system by clicking every possible delete button in a new regisry/disc cleanup thingy, but it was the women I married some years back.Any thoughts on retribution for such such a heinous crime that deprives a man of his Flight Sim,short of divorce, murder, amputating fingers to stop mouse use etc, these I have allready considered. She has said that it is good for my health as I spent so much time sitting at my FS she is convinced I would soon suffer from DVT!!!! Has any of you suffered this fate when flying long haul on FS?Eddie.

Did you physically lose all of your Flight Simulator files? If you can access the old files, or have a backup to look at (even a very old one), your registration key will be found in the file Program.cfg which is in Modules\FSNavigator\bin\ under [Essential]Hope this helps,John

For a while FSNav key was sold through SimMarket who now sells FSUIPC and WideFS Keys. If you purchased it through them you should be able to retrieve your key. Also if your Hard Drive wasn't damaged or written over you may be able to retrieve the data or have someone do it for you however that could become costly.
