Fs9 Blurries ( See Pic )
John, many thanks for posting these Nvidia settings, have just done a daylight flight and it is the best I have ever seen in my FS9.Flying years,Thank you.One small problem just a small amount of 'shimmering' on small parts of scenery seems at random which setting may be causing this? One big problem I have just noticed........ at busy urban airport dusk almost dark and there are 100s of lights above the scenery on the skyline, looks pretty but they should not be there methinks,It must be one of the Nvida setting as I have not changed any other settings. Hope you can help with these probs Many Thanks. My Nvidia card is GeForce 9800GT Mip mapping set at 4 in FS.Eddie.

Hi david,As an example many people try to use the Flight1 Regisry tool I was unable to find my FS9EXE. so this tip may help, I do agree that many people need to find the FS9CFG as allterations can be made to this file.Ed.- WARNING LATEST NVIDIA DRIVERS
I to have had problems after driver download which resulted in not only messing up FS9 it altered my Windows system as well.I had to reinstall FS9 3 times without cure, in the end I bought a brand new vidio card.I would strongly urge you all make sure you download from the genuine Nvidia siteEd.- FS9EXE.
I see that many people on this and other sites have problems trying to locate the FS9EXE. and that includes me,I cured my problem as follows=Right click on FS9 desktop icon--click properties--Click Find Target.--this will take you to your FS9EXE.It worked for me,I hope this tip may be of help to someone.Regards to all,Eddie.- Runway lights
Many thanks to Tim&Dave I will give this a try.I am confused, if this is a standard FS9 lighting setting why is it missing in the FS9CFG??or is it just my FS9CFG?Thanks again for your help,Eddie- Runway lights
Hello to all, hope you can help,I have recently Reinstalled FS9, and slowly installing all my addons, the sim is running very well and with a new Nvidia 9800, my eyes have stopped there habit of stuttering 24hrs a day!! I have just downloaded Real Environment Pro,a superb freeware my thanks to them.I need to adjust my "Display-runway lights-surface-scalar= Etc in my FS9cfg.My problem is there is no such entry in that folder and it has been checked many times,IT IS NOT THERE!!Any ideas you fine Simmers, Eddie,EGMH- FS Navigator
Hello John yes, all or large part of FS9 files plus many more not related to FS have been deleted from hard/drive I have a "guru"coming to sort it out in a day or two, he thinks to get the system back will need a new Windows instal, thanks for your help, Eddie.- FS Navigator
Thanks for all your replies,Opo I did have a Backup in an E/mail program but the server had a crash some 6 weeks ago and lost all my records.Had no luck trying to obtain key. When your lucks out its out! What is the best replacement for FS nav that you folks may suggest??Regards and thanks to all.PS. It would be unfair to name the person that crashed my system by clicking every possible delete button in a new regisry/disc cleanup thingy, but it was the women I married some years back.Any thoughts on retribution for such such a heinous crime that deprives a man of his Flight Sim,short of divorce, murder, amputating fingers to stop mouse use etc, these I have allready considered. She has said that it is good for my health as I spent so much time sitting at my FS she is convinced I would soon suffer from DVT!!!! Has any of you suffered this fate when flying long haul on FS?Eddie.- FS Navigator
Hi all, hope you can help me, Due to a catostrophic commputer crash, [ now back to nomal]I have lost all reference of FSnavigator,I believe I may be able to retrieve my key from another site, can any of you clever folk link me to the site?.Meantime I will spend the next 3 weeks re-installing 8 years of fs downloads!!! Thanks in advance,Eddie - FS9EXE.
