October 2, 200916 yr No longer free data now that the feds have closed the door to public data sources. Only sources are now payware, hence the credit system.Cheers,
October 2, 200916 yr Is that the reason? Wow. I have to admit after 9/11 I am really amazed that Flight Simulator is still available! :( I have no quams about the navdata pricing at all personally! Reliable, Current and easy to install! as a heavy metal driver, I woulden't go anywhere else for my navdata! October 2, 200916 yr There are no free sources of the data necessary to operate the PMDG products FMC. They all use Navigraph. The credits are not expensive 20 Euros = 200 credits. And once you download one source you may download all the sources including vroute and other products at no additional charge. There are also options for discounts. October 3, 200916 yr There is free data you can get it on planepath.com, that's where I get my data from. The have the SIDS/STARS for US, UK, and Ireland I believeTerry provides sidstars, but you still need the navdata. I also provide customized sidstar procedures for the US (see flightsim.com file pmdg0910.zip). See also: http://ops.precisionmanuals.com/wiki/SIDSTARS Dan Downs KCRP
