Once again Max... Not a witch hunt. If it were I would have joined the numerous threads you have actively participated in which have all gone south. I would also gather to guess that being a member since 2002 and very rarely vocal against anyones solutions or ideas that would also rule me out as being a troll, just another longtime member growing tired of your shenanigans.I do however have the intelligence to distinguish the difference between a probable software glitch and the usual when all else fails last resort solution of new hardware, which is how our little war of words started in the first place.Seeing as I was able to have a very similar problem solved and shared that with the OP and pointed out one of many reasons why the new card may not have worked as implied I guess I didnt attempt to hijack the thread either. Even though you may not agree with that fix and believe it may infact produce more problems with the latest drivers, none the less it was a simple fix that worked.Maybe the OP may wish to go with the Ati card so have at it... and if you still think its nessasry to say anything else feel free to pm me.

Hi, I recently bought and installed my TripleHead2go digital which I use to run 3 LCD monitors at 1280*1024. Just want to check everything is working as it should. I have noticed that since installing the TH2G that my desktop and applications run slower than before (e.g it takes longer to load windows explorer and Excel/Word are slightly slower than before) - is this normal? In FSX itself my framerates are lower (understandably so as more is being rendered) but it also takes long to change the settings which seems strange. For example in the welcome screen when I click on change plane there is a pause of around 10 seconds before the plane list comes up. Is that normal? Any advice much appreciated Jon
Jon, I had a similar experience with my TH2Go and solved it by reinstalling both the TH2Go drivers and video drivers in that order. First make sure you have the latest firmware update from Matrox as well as drivers. When you finish delete your fsx.cfg file and let it rebuild hope this helps.

John

Max: do us a favor and stop offering pc advice. I have read two threads in a row where your advice is incomplete at best and shoddy at worst. Stick to reading the forums and offering mundane advice to people about your impressions of aircraft and scenery and leave the tech advice to someone else. Thanks!

As a 3head2go owner I can assure you this is certainly not normal! I suspect you SVGA card is struggling here, running at wide screen res takes ram and GPU. what graphics card have you got? My old 8800GTX used to run the 3head2go easy, a basic 8800 would struggle
