Hello all.Tired of flying at night and it looking blah.Could you recommend a good night time lighting package for the ground - NOT for aircraft/strobes/beacons etc.I don't care if it's payware or freeware - just want something decent n realistic (as much as it can be in FS).I'm using FS9.Thanks Paul.

Get Ground Environment Professional from Flight1, they have beautiful night lighting texture.

Be careful what you want - is it night (as in sky) or night ground textures, or street lights... For example: GEPro offers very nice ground textures. ActiveSky Graphics offers very good night sky textures. Street lights are provided by Ultimate Terrain... To my knowledge there is no package that offers everything. But in my opinion, the three programs I mentioned are the ones you shouldn't be without if using FS9.

Try the Zinertec night lighting package, very good.

I used GE Pro for a long time and consider it very good. But now I use Birdseye View and think it's excellent both for daytime and night time. The urban textures are excellent and the autogen lines up just nice with the Ultimate Terrain roads.

GEPro gives great textures, night and day. Don't know how anyone can live without this (combined with UT)But if you want something special at night, you need to combine the GEPro textures with the street lighting from Ultimate Terrain.You need both packages to make it look nice (in my opinion).Neil
