October 16, 200916 yr Been thinking for a while about getting RC. Now i wish i got it sooner!!! Brings a whole new dimension to FSX. Read the manual, and followed the tutorial. Got a flight in the PMDG 747 right first time!!!Couple of questions, tho: Sometimes when i have to read back an instruction, the box takes over 30-40 seconds to switch to confirm. By which time iv been issued another instruction! :)Also, i need to be able to read the instuctions as they come through, but the green band of text is sometimes a little slow also. October 16, 200916 yr I have the text disabled, and it's quite sluggish at times for me too. Sometimes it takes a second for RC to "think" about what's happening next before it will open up menu options for you to select. October 16, 200916 yr If you are getting the "green band" rename in your modules folder advdisp.dll to advdisp.xxx to disable it. You should be installing the latest FSUIPC and makerwys.exe, links at the forum top.RC is at v4.3 build 3843 or latest I think build 3845.
October 18, 200916 yr Author make sure "display text" is unchecked on the rc options screen.there shouold be no green band. all the menu items should be displayed in the fsuipc display window.FIXED!!!
