I have downloaded various packs. Which to install though? Which is best and improves vastly the grass textures?Any overwhelming one that's payware? Or one that truely is the best of the best?

Hello,This one is not bad at all !!!FS2004 (ACOF) - Misc. FS2004/FSX PicNic 1.0[ Download | View ] Name: picnic10.zip Size: 11,833,337 Date: 10-17-2007 Downloads: 1,857 FS2004/FSX PicNic 1.0 - add grass to Flight Simulator. "PicNic" is more than grass, it makes it possible to improve the ground in general, giving to basic textures an aspect with more contrast and also more relief. By Aime Leclercq. Interface by Jacky Brouze. Would you post a screen shot, please? thanks
See this thread: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=261814The main emphasis of this download (link at bottom of 2nd post) is cloud textures but there is a very nice grass texture in there too...Geoff
I didn't realize it was the same DL. I got this one yesterday, and installed the grass texture and the clouds. They were both good. The REX grass, (REX_GRASSII.zip), that Microlight posted is looks better on my comp. Thanks
If you just want grass, then REX grass for FSX works fine in FS9 - very good and detailed replacement (http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/downloads.html).;)
Hi.Where does this go in FS9.1?In the readme it states "FSX Scenery\World\Texture folder" so in FS9.1 wouls this just be in the Texture folder in the root folders, or does it need to go in to any of thw Scenery - World - Texture folders ?Thanks.PS what do you guy's think of the other file named "Picnic Grass"

Unlike the British Government, I actually Learn from my Mistakes..........

Windows XP Professional SP3, ABIT IC7 MAX3 MotherBoard, Intel P4 3.40GHz HT, 4Gigs RAM, Hercules Digifire Sound Card, Geforce 7800GS 512RAM Graphics Card, FS9.1, REX, ASv6.5, GE pro.FE.

Hello,They go there in FS2004 also:Scenery\World\Texture folderNote:Please unzip the grass texture in a temporary folder ... so you can check the file name and backup first your original .. just in case !Wich one better?I still actually use the REX in one install and the Picnic in a other ... just a question of personnal taste .... and how they blend in the whole environment.Regards.bye.gifGus.
