Best weather add on?

Your very best move, Noel - if you are really cheesed off with your existing engine - and don't mind throwing out a few more bucks/quid - is to purchase ASA and REX2. As you can see, many here have already done this. ASA is a new generation ahead of ASX - and when combined with the fabulous water and cloud graphics (and better frames) that REX2 provides, they will give you the richness, volume, layering, realism and depth in all the variations and colours that you could ever wish for.

Wow, that is a statement!I do have FEX with it's HD cloud schemes, etc. Probably should take a look at ASA again. I didn't upgrade when I read some stuff about it, and as I say was not too happy with ASX. As for REX2, I'll keep open to that. FEX is fair in terms of textures, but quite limited for sky color themes in particular. They never did anything with their weather engine. Thanks, I'll take it under advisement, whatever that means! One quick one more Paul: processing overhead for the combo you mention, compared to what I am currently on? (cloud text only at 1024, tho HD livery for MD-80 at 4096).
