Hello Werner,Take a look at the green text bar on the top of the screen. You can see what the speech recognition system is detecting.I assume you're German?The speech recognition system might hear "LNAV" when you're really trying to say "VNAV". It depends on how you say it. Your accent, etc.Again, take a look at the green bar to see what the system is actually hearing.If it only happens 1 in 3 times, it's probably something like that.Best,

He says both like this: " LNAV - VNAV - LNAV - VNAV - LNAV - VNAV" etc.The green text bar says "nav" - so the speech recognition seems to understand "nav". But i did not say anything.First i thought its the background noise, but if, it has to be happen all the time - or?, but its only after T/O.All other works nearly 100% every phrase is recognised and all flows are working perfect. no mistunderstandings - nothing, only this LNAV - VNAV - LNAV....Excuse my bad english, it would be easier in german for me :( School is gone for over 30 years now. But i try :(

Do you have FO takeoffs set to "Yes" by chance on the Config Panel?

Hmmmmm, has anyone else ever experienced this?So you're saying LNAV and VNAV go into an endless loop.Please try again, and see if you can determine a trigger point.I know you said it only happens 1 in 3 times for you, but if you can find a way to reproduce it that would be helpful.Best,

I haven't experienced this at all. I can practically whisper V NAV or L NAV and the FO will follow the instruction perfect.I wonder if he may be picking up some background noise into the mic.Bob

i will check diff. things today and report lateri also thought its the background noise, but as i said before it only happend after T/O, and only with LNAV and VNAV, not with the flaps up or the gear.i think when it comes from the background noise (witch is pretty silent, no wife around no little kids) it must happen with other commands as well - or?anyway i am shure to find the reason :(

Do you have a video camera? Try making a video.That way I could see it. Cheers,
