December 1, 200916 yr I have spent a very long frustrating time researching via google, and the forums for this issue and have had no luck at all. I upgraded to the gtx 260 and purchased to new identical monitors. Window mode is the only way to get full vc across the 2 displays. Now the problem....the image is streched. and when zooming it becomes even worse. In external view, there is a break in the middle of the aircraft, because of the split between the 2 monitors, wich i can live with. But, they dont line up. Resolution is the same set thru nvidia control panel.Any ideas? or is this just the way it is. I thought about getting dual or tripple head 2 go if that will solve the problem. I did change the cfg to reflect widescreen.Any advice would be wonderful.ThanksEric
December 1, 200916 yr I don't know hot to fix this particular problem, but TH2Go will fix it, as the two monitors will be percieved as one wide-screen.Also with Dual or Triple head 2 go you won't have to run windowed.
December 1, 200916 yr Commercial Member I have a virtually new ( used for 2 weeks) dual head to go, are you interested to buy? I dont use as i got a 30 inch monitor insteadcheers,Mark
December 1, 200916 yr Did you right click your desktop, go to Properties/Settings and set your #2 monitor to 'Extend Windows to this monitor'?
December 1, 200916 yr As for the stretching, did you set WideViewAspect=True in your FSX.cfg file? For the 'break' between the monitors, I don't know of a way to fix that under windows drivers, however I use a TripleHead2Go Digital which has a 'bezel management' feature that allows adjustments to compensate for the bezel spacing by allowing you to 'push' the images together behind the bezels (which make it appear as one unbroken image).Good luck, and I hope you get everything worked out. :) Happy Flying! -George
December 2, 200916 yr I can recommend TrippleHead 2Go and an additional monitor. The interface has Bezel Management so the space occupied by the frames of the monitor is taken into account, and it "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
December 3, 200916 yr Author Thanks for all the advice...The problem turned out to be that one monitor was not set up in windows as digital.
