December 2, 200916 yr Is there anyone here that has 195.62 installed and j41 is working fine? I have read a few post on here about graphics anomolies with the virtual cockpit. I currently have 191.07 and would like to update my drivers without rendering the j41 useless. David J. December 2, 200916 yr Author I just updated my video card settings and my j41 virtual cockpit is all tore up with graphic problems. any way to fix this? David J. December 2, 200916 yr Author I set antialiasing and anisotropic filtering to application controlled, but Antialiasing transparancy to supersampling. No noticeable performance hit due to FSX relying more on CPU power anyways. My FPS actually went up 5 FPS and the bezel lines cleaned up alot. I have 2 OC'd 9800GTX's (1GB apiece) David J. December 2, 200916 yr I have version 195.62 installed and still get graphic anomolies. It's a tad better but still frustrating when you get so close to completing a flight only to have the visuals go south.Bernie
December 2, 200916 yr My 195.62 works fine. December 2, 200916 yr Author Well I did a test flight and supersampling actually cost a huge performance hit (10-12FPS instead of the amazing 18-22FPS). The bezel lines are hard to ignore, they are everywhere in the cockpit and pretty much move all over the place when the aircraft is moving. Is PMDG planning on releasing an update for this? I know it is a very nice virtual cockpit, but I have addons from companies like captainsim that have amazing, colorful virtual cockpits and none of these lines. David J. Hopefully PMDG is working on an update for this. David J. December 3, 200916 yr Am I correct in assuming that you know to remove the previous driver completely from your system, using something like driver sweeper, before you install the new driver? I really do not see why PMDG has to patch something that works perfectly well... If you were to expect a company to patch its software to be compatible with every single new video driver release (even if it were physically possible), they would never have got beyond their first release...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
December 3, 200916 yr regardless of what you read on the web, there is no need for either driversweeper or nhancer anymore. just install the new fsx drivers. nvidia has caught up and is delivering drivers which install perfectly well and with good quality in fsx (the 1% extra you get with nhancer isn't really worth the bother anymore)M>
December 3, 200916 yr Author So what driver does not have the bezel lines in the j41 cockpit? I've seen youtube vids of flawless bezel line-less cockpits, i know it is possible David J. Vista 64bit quad core cpu, with nhancer. It's the best sim yet, as I had loads of problems with Flight1 ATR 72-500.This is great, well done PMDG
