I have to say after installing this patch my altitude selector knob got messed up. Also on my test flight, VNAV didn't work at all. It is like it completely ignored the altitude values I entered. The yaw behavior of the plane seems entirely wrong now too.I didn't see a performance increase either.Back to the LDS 767 and waiting for the LDS 757... :( It is really a shame the CS757 isn't as nice as their 727 or C-130.

Do you have to totally uninstall the old 757 or only the block addons, (which i don't have) wasn't clear on this point and I am D/L the patch now. Would be nice to get some improvements on it, the 757 is often iffy on approach for me, and FPS is a little hard though i got a new Q9550 and my FPS has doubled in other addons just not tried it with the 757 yet.Paul M

From Captain Sim.... Uninstall everything you have installed from the 757 Captain family (all blocks, -300, -Freighter, ACE, Sound) from your computer. (Start> Programs> Captain Sim> 757 Captain> ).4. Install* the downloaded files on your computer in the following order:- Base Pack (csp751_4400.exe)- 757-300 (csx753_4400.exe) or 757 Freighter (csx754_4400.exe) 5. Restart your computer....my ? is what about livery's and skins? Do I uninstall these aswell?

They will all need to be reinstalled once the base pack is uninstalled. I would suggest that you go into your \Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes directory after you have uninstalled your product/s and delete any CS_B767 and/or CS_B757 folders that remain and start your reinstall clean.

Was this with the 757 or the 767? The 757 worked great for me after a complete uninstall and reinstall of the "update". If you didn't see a performance increase in the 757, you have major system issues.Best regards,Jim

People,Make sure you save your last working version of the 757 be4 trying the 4.4 update. Once I installed the 4.4 version I got no better FPS, VNAV functionality became unreliable and in spite of properly reinstalling Necroscopes awesome night lighting feature, no night lighting as good as in version 4.3. It is nice to finally have a rising runway on the PFD but for me this one feature alone is not good enough to use 4.4. I have not evaluated how good the 3D vaportrails are yet. Jim,Could not agree with you more. The performance difference between v4.3 and v4.4 is like night and day.

After the new version I only get around 30 in the VC. I get around 35 FPS with the PMDG 747 and over 40 with the MD-11. The only plane in my hangar that gets me worse FPS is the Citation Mustang.

It's all relative. When I get 60 FPS with the majority of my planes, getting 30 isn't very smooth. Even 40 is a lot smoother with Track IR. And yes, you CAN see a difference between 30 and 60.Performance isn't the reason I don't like the 757 though. I have yet to do a flight with it where everything has worked properly, whereas the LDS 767 works properly EVERY flight.

Installed per instructions, Here are my 4.4 issues, Cabin altitude(20000 @ 370000 feet) still not fixed, no VC night lighting,no GPWS/alt alert sounds, landing light/taxi light switches tied together & who knows what else, I stopped flying.

And yet people will keep buying from Captain Sim... sigh.-Alex

Does the 767 have the same problems the 757 does? I couldn't imagine giving the 757 a gold star award...Perhaps the 767 is magically better?
