Liveries Not Showing Up

Featured Replies

I am having problems installing some liveries for the MD11 . I use fs9, Windows 7 64 bit. This problem just started. I had already had the MD11 and 2 other liveries installed and working fine since upgrading to Win 7. I set the administrative rights, I tried running as administrator. The closest I got was it showed up once but when I loaded it FS9 crashed. I have tried installing 3 different ones just to make sure the installer isn't corrupt. I have even re downloaded it. I need to point out this is for the MD11 GE model. The others I installed when I upgraded to Win 7 where both MD11F PW models.ThanksRichie Walsh

Hi!The only thing I can imagine are maybe this.Have you copied the liveries from your old OS to Win 7? In that case you need to uninstall them first, and then make a new install of them all.Hope it helps!/ Leffe

You are having the same problem I am. I think it is a definite compatibility issue, and I'm hoping PMDG can come out with a fix for this as I did a compatibility check and it came up incompatible, do there is a problem with the liveries and windows 7.

I don't know what the problem is, but it isn't a compatibility issue. Lots of W7 users running okay. Common problem is usually something with rights, run as admin and give directories admin rights; the newer OS behave like nannies.

I tried running the add on as admin, but no luck yet.Michael pare

How about my other suggestion? Assign admin rights to FS9 folders and subfolders.

Right mouse click on the folder and go to security on the properties settings.

I'll give that a try, by doing the whole fs9 folder.Michael pare
