December 13, 200916 yr Hi guysI have been using FSX with a few plane add-ons. I just purchased the acceleration pack as well and just went to install it, said I need to remove FSX SP2, which I then did and then installed acceleration.I had to do a lot of clicking after that to get all the panels back up and running on the add-on aircraft (Level-D 767 and PMDG 747). Now its all working just wondering if there is any impact on FPS or would it better to start all over again in the FSX install process?regardskrishan Gigabyte EP45-DS4 (F9) E8500 running at 4.1GHz 4G Dominator 1066 running at 1032MHz 898MB XFX 260GTX Vista 64-bit on VolictyRaptor 250GB KIS operating 1440 X 900

December 13, 200916 yr I would install everything from scratch. If you only have a few add ons, it shouldn't be too much trouble.I would go here to see how to set up everything for the best results.http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041 MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad
December 13, 200916 yr Author I am not sure, but I may have lost a frame overall landing a level-d 767 at heathrow with traffic X at 69%. fps shows 16-17. A clean install will save you a lot of headaches down the road. Even if you have a lot of addons it is still worth it. I am in the process of doing a clean install right now. I installed W7U and UT2 did not work right so I did a clean install. I downloaded a program called smarty uninstaller and it uninstalls a whole bunch of programs at once. This helps with uninstalling all of the addons that remain. Mike Keigley
