December 14, 200916 yr Hi GuysI am going to do a clean install for FSX.Presently, I have FSX in C:\FSX, not in the default dir. Also its on the same drive as my OS, vista-64.I want to know the sequence to intall everything I have and if from my experience FSUIPC causes my fps to drop so I did not install it last time even though I have a paid licence.Products1. FSX2. FS Acceleration3. Traffic X4. PMDG 7475. Level-D 7676. Just flight 737 Pilot-in-CommandThe method I reckon on is (minus FSUIPC)1. FSX2. FSX SP13. FS Acceleration4. Traffic X5. PMDG + Level-D add-on planesI also found 737 PIC did not work well without FSUIPC, so I did not install that as well, I don't want to kill fps but do not like to slide sliders back either.Your comments pleaseregardskrishan Gigabyte EP45-DS4 (F9) E8500 running at 4.1GHz 4G Dominator 1066 running at 1032MHz 898MB XFX 260GTX Vista 64-bit on VolictyRaptor 250GB KIS operating 1440 X 900
December 14, 200916 yr FSUIPC shouldn't cause any FPS issues. I would check out the FSUIPC forum (check the FSUIPC manual for location) to see if there is a solution. On your install, you do not need SP1 with Acceleration. Acceleration includes the service packs. Also check out Nick's guide in installing and configuring:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=38 MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad
December 14, 200916 yr Level-D and PMDG will install a version of FSUIPC by default. They can't function without it... So you basically have no choice.
December 15, 200916 yr Level-D and PMDG will install a version of FSUIPC by default. They can't function without it... So you basically have no choice.I don't think the LDS-767 (SP2) or the PMDG products for FSX uses FSUIPC anymore, there systems are developed with SimConnect routines. December 15, 200916 yr I do know that Captain Sim still does. When I recently re-installed my CS757, it installed an older version of FSUPIC and even gave me a pop-up alerting me to this fact.
December 15, 200916 yr Author I really do not think either Levl-D or PMDG products mentioned here install any FSUIPC module, I go and check it out and find nothing there. I think maybe things have changed. Gigabyte EP45-DS4 (F9) E8500 running at 4.1GHz 4G Dominator 1066 running at 1032MHz 898MB XFX 260GTX Vista 64-bit on VolictyRaptor 250GB KIS operating 1440 X 900
