February 7, 201016 yr Hi Ryan,What do you tell the FSX default weather users who see this??!!Do not worry, we are looking into things. :(I tell them to embrace reality and come over to the world of ASA post SP2! Thanks a bunch guys. Ryan Kelly
February 7, 201016 yr LOL, would you tell them it is a FSX bug or let them figure it out on their own??!!
February 7, 201016 yr Hi Ryan,What do you tell the FSX default weather users who see this??!!I'd tell them to get ASA, once it has fixed this problem. :( Who cares whose problem it originally was, kudos to HifiSim if they fix it. Petraeus
February 7, 201016 yr What do you tell the FSX default weather users who see this??!!Surely, unless I'm mistaken, it's the ASA data you're correcting not the FSX data. So the FSX default weather users will carry on as before! They won't see anything different. ASA users, however, will see clouds at the correct heights.I think Petraeus is absolutely correct and argued his case in a very coherent and reasoned manner. In my opinion ASA should respond and correct the problem and, as it would seem to be relatively easy to fix, do it sooner and get it out of the way.Iain Smith
February 7, 201016 yr Hi Ian,It's not a data issue; it's the way FSX handles the data internally. That is why default users, ASA users, and REX users all see the same issue. If you read post #16 from me you would see that we are working on things and you need to know that it is not an easy fix and we don't do things just to get them out of the way. We hope that when a SP is released, it will deal with a number of issues and will fix them in an appropriate way!

By "getting it out of the way" I did not mean to imply that you were slipshod, I meant it would be one problem solved and finished with! :( Iain Smith
