December 23, 200916 yr Michael- lovely setup- add those two extra view monitors and you've got a real winner! Thanks for posting. It seems as though multi monitor simming is becoming infectious!Merry Christmas Alex ReidMerry Christmas to you as well. Yeah - I've been running this setup since the release of the LDS 767. Prior to that I was running Project Magenta with the Wilco 767. It was PM that got me hooked on a dedicated outside view with dedicated panel views.I'll be looking you up soon! -michael
December 25, 200916 yr Author Hi Everyone,Great looking shots, that's some setup. Well, one of the three monitors has a crack in it, has to be sent back to NewEgg. I also have another problem, three monitors will not fit in the space I have (off by 3 1/2 inches). Guess I'll have to manage with the two 25.5" monitors, the third monitor will be setup in the play room. It will replace our 19" game setup for the kids, they are going to love that.I also ordered the Dual TH2Go Digital Box (D2G-A2D-IF), this should give me the B767 VC over both screens. That is, if I was reading everything correctly. The two screens together look sharp, think I made a good choice. Don't forget those outer monitors must be angled toward you, so at their midpoint, they are square to your eyes. Depending on how far they are from your eyes, the angle will be between 30-45
December 30, 200916 yr Author Hi Everyone,Well, I got the DualHead2Go today. The install was simple and I was up and running in about ten minutes. Thought I could get away with not having the Bezel Management option since it only comes with the TripleHead2Go, I was wrong. Not having the option to correct for the bezel dosen't look right, so I got an RMA from NewEgg, sending the Dual back and replacing it with the Triple.Should have it in a couple of days. Still waiting on the replacement monitor. In your car, the view forward through the windshield is separated by the post or pillar, from view left forward through driver side window. There is always a hidden slice of scenery behind the pillar. So the side view commences a few degrees further to the left than where the forward view ends!No big surprise there- what is surprising is how sensitive the eye/brain combo is in detecting a discrepancy in this regard in Flight Sim. I calculate this angular shift (bezel mgmt.) of the outer views to 1/100 of a degree, and it does pay off in creating just one, very wide view!Happy New Year- Alex Reid
