Haha....I've got the answer, I found out that this happens during the shutdown checklist as well as pre filght checklist so looked at what the checklists had in common. "Cutoff" When I said "Cutoff" for the Engine Start Levers, the speech recognition interpreted that is 'cut' and pressed control x, which must be a shortcut to start the engines. I just confirmed this is the case by not using FS2Crew and switching on the battery and APU and saying cutoff. As soon as I said it then engine started to turn.Is there a way to exclude certain words from the speech recognition?"Cut" would be one of them also, "Start" (opens the start menu when I say cleared for pushback and engine start)I am also having some trouble with pushback. I never stop and if I stop it by pressing Shift P the pushback sequence never finishes.Nick
Huh? You're using FS2Crew right and not some other voice program? There's no code in FS2Crew that would result in CTRL X being pressed when you say 'Cut-Off' or 'Cut'The only keypress that uses "X" is the one used by FS2Crew to control the Logo lights; it's shift ctrl X. Maybe that's a clue?So you've lost me there I'm afraid :( In fact, the speech recognition should not even detect 'cut' because is not in the grammar. Can you make a video so I can see this first hand?Cheers!

Am I not supposed to be having Windows Speech recognition running while I'm using FS2Crew?Edit: Oh duh that's why :( I had Windows Speech recognition running while I was using FS2Crew.For the record: Crtr X (cut) is the button to perform the action of the flying tip, even if flying tips is turned off.Example: The engine was off so the flying tip was "start the engines... etc" and when I said "cutoff" (with windows speech recognition running) the computer thought I said cut so 'pressed' crtl x which 'fixed' the flying tip by turning the engine on.Now it's all good apart from the pushback issue.

That's correct, Windows Speech Recognizer must be 'OFF' before you start FS2Crew.Pushback: I'm not sure. That can happen from time to time. I think it's a bug in FS itself. Just hit SHIFT P to stop it. Also use the default distance settings for the pushback.Best,
