January 1, 201016 yr It's because the aircraft was designed for FS9, not FSX, so you have the usual texture issues like you see. There was an FSX conversion done for the Spartan, and I think it was at FSNorthwest.net. Best, Michael KDFW

January 1, 201016 yr Just a little feedback..........I am running FSX with SP 1 and 2 (no Acceleration). The Spartan displays properly for me - no prop or tire issues.Of course one does have to wade through 7 or 8 error messages regarding old gauge files which are not supported any longer during loading but it seems to fly just fine after that.I am curious about the web site which was mentioned (FSNorthwest.net). I clicked everywhere I could think of but could not get past the first page which only contains news. Never mind - I just had not scrolled to the right far enough - duh!Just downloaded the FSX from FSNorthwest and added Pete's Angel texture to it - works just fine for me and no more gauge error messages during loading. Sweet!

January 1, 201016 yr Opa, what airplane is this in the screenshot? I am not familiar with it.If you are speaking about the screenshots in the earlier posts, it is Milton Shupe's Classic Spartan Exec. A really sweet aircraft. I found the FS2004 version at Flightsim.com (spartan.zip) and also got the proper FSX version from FSNorthwest.com.Milton does extrordinary work! :( :( :(
