January 13, 201016 yr Moderator There's a v/s pointer on the PFD. Why not simply look at it? :( Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

January 14, 201016 yr nah. i know that, and i try to make a 300 fpm landing, but what i want is a way to tell how many fpm i touch the ground at. and the v/s numbers on the PFD never change
January 14, 201016 yr and the v/s numbers on the PFD never changeOk that part I don't understand. Nevertheless, at least plan to perform your landing maybe at a little less than 300 fpm... This is way more than any airplane should need to take on a regular basis.Anyways, the functionality you ask for should be included in different add-ons. One that comes to my mind is FSPassengers. I believe it has a readout of your touch down vertical speed.
