The cloud pack mentioned above by Pablo Diaz is really stunning. I couple it with soft horizons, pollution/mountain/sand haze layers and run FSMetar to generate real weather. It works very well. I had for a period the same problem but only in NE France!!!! It has since cured itself reason unbeknown.Vololiberista

Did you recently change any AI parking in the area? I have a add on scenery for Sarmellek International Airport (LHSM) and I changed the parking using AFCAD. The problem was they used ADE for parking. After I made my changes there was 5 or 6 squares above the airport that looked like the ones in your screenshot. Put the original ADE file back and the squares were gone.(problem was they named the file AF2 but it was a ADE file)

Thank you for your suggestion,but I do not use AI parking nor do I use AFCAD.I rely on Traffic2004,and the add-on scenries I have installed to do that for me.There was a texture folder in the Effects folder with some .bmp images,and I deleted that folder as per Joe's suggestion,but still have the same squares.RICK
